- YardMartPlus collects personal information when you register to use YardMartPlus services or to post content on YardMartPlus. At registration you are asked for your email address and certain other information. Account information is password-protected. Keep your password safe
- Forums use basic webserver authentication. Close your browser to log out
- YardMartPlus does not knowingly collect any information from persons under the age of 18. If YardMartPlus learns that a posting is by a person under the age of 18, YardMartPlus will remove that post.
- YardMartPlus, or people who post on YardMartPlus, may provide links to third party websites, which may have different privacy practices. We are not responsible for, nor have any control over, the privacy policies of those third party websites, and encourage all users to read the privacy policies of each and every website visited.
2. Service-related announcements
- YardMartPlus will send you a welcome/confirmation email when you sign up for YardMartPlus services. Receipt of this email is required for using YardMartPlus services.
- YardMartPlus will send you service-related announcements on rare occasions when it is necessary to do so.
- You may not opt-out of service-related communications, which are not promotional in nature. If you do not wish to receive them, you have the option to deactivate your account by emailing admin@yardmartplus.com from the email address you signed up with.
3. Information Sharing and Disclosure
When you post a message, your registered email address is visible to other users. If you post personal information online that is accessible to the public, you may receive unsolicited messages from other parties in return. YardMartPlus may be required to disclose personally identifiable information under special circumstances, such as to comply with subpoenas or when your actions violate the YardMartPlus Terms of Service. YardMartPlus may disclose personally identifiable information to parties in compliance with YardMartPlus' Copyright Policy, as YardMartPlus in YardMartPlus' sole discretion believes necessary or appropriate in connection with an investigation of fraud, intellectual property infringement, piracy, or other unlawful activity. In such events, YardMartPlus may disclose name, street address, city, state, zip code, country, phone number, email address and company name. YardMartPlus may share aggregated demographic information with business partners. YardMartPlus will not rent, sell, or share personal information about you with nonaffiliated parties except as specified in this Privacy Policy to provide products or services you have requested or when YardMartPlus has your permission. As part of the buying and selling process, you may obtain another YardMartPlus user's email address, shipping address and/or other information. YardMartPlus has not granted you a license to use the information for unsolicited commercial messages. Without limiting the foregoing, without express consent from the user, you are not licensed to add any YardMartPlus user to your email or physical mail list.
4. Data we collect
- We sometimes collect your email address, for purposes such as sending self-publishing and confirmation emails, authenticating user accounts, providing subscription email services, registering for forums, etc.
- For paid job postings, we collect contact information, such as name(s), phone/fax number(s), and address for billing purposes.
- We sometimes collect your phone number for account authentication purposes, and may transmit it to a third party service for verification.
- YardMartPlus does not store credit card information. Credit card transactions are transmitted to a financial gateway, and we endeavor to protect the security of your payment information during transmission by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology.
- We may collect personal information if you provide it in feedback or comments, post it on our classifieds or interactive forums, or if you contact us directly. Please do not post any personal information on any forums or classifieds that you expect to keep private.
- Our web logs collect standard web log entries for each page served, including your IP address, page URL, and timestamp. Web logs help us to diagnose problems with our server, to administer the YardMartPlus site, and to otherwise provide our service to you.
5. Data we store
- All classified and forum postings are stored in our database, even after "deletion," and may be archived elsewhere.
- Our web logs and other records are stored indefinitely.
- Registered job posters can access and update their account information through the account homepage.
- Although we make good faith efforts to store the information in a secure operating environment that is not available to the public, we cannot guarantee complete security.

8. Editing and deleting account information
You can change your YardMartPlus Account Information (except your username), at any time. YardMartPlus may send you certain communications relating to the YardMartPlus service, such as service-related announcements and administrative messages that are considered part of your YardMartPlus account. You can delete your YardMartPlus account by emailing admin@yardmartplus.com Please note that your identification, billing and contact information may remain in YardMartPlus' records for some period. YardMartPlus limits access to personal information about you to employees who YardMartPlus believes reasonably needs to come into contact with that information to provide products or services to you or in order to do their jobs. Your YardMartPlus Account Information is password-protected. If your personally identifiable information changes you may correct or update it by making the change on Your YardMartPlus Page. You may delete or deactivate your account by emailing Customer Support at admin@yardmartplus.com or by postal mail at the contact information listed below. YardMartPlus will respond to your request within 10-20 business days
9. Changes to this Privacy Policy
If the privacy policy is changed, YardMartPlus will post changes so that you are aware of those changes. YardMartPlus reserves the right to modify this privacy statement at any time, so please review it frequently.
